The Journey of the Rwandan Community Abroad in Canada
From humble beginnings to a vibrant, influential community, the Rwandan Community Abroad (RCA) in Canada has come a long way. Established with the vision of creating a united front for Rwandans in Canada, the RCA has since evolved into a beacon of hope, unity, and collaboration for thousands of Rwandans.
In its early days, the RCA was primarily a support system for those seeking solace and community in a new land. Over the years, this foundation of mutual support transformed into a powerful network that spans across provinces, from British Columbia to Newfoundland.
Our achievements are many. From cultural festivals that showcase the beauty of Rwandan heritage to educational initiatives that foster understanding and growth, the RCA has been at the forefront of strengthening ties between Canada and Rwanda. One of our proudest accomplishments is our contribution to Rwanda's socio-economic development. Through various investments, knowledge transfer initiatives, and collaborative projects, we have played an integral role in Rwanda's journey towards its 2050 Development Goals.
